I bought my first serious 35mm camera while living in Spain and my passion for photography grew as I traveled around the world. I try not to limit my photography to any particular style. My aim with this site is to share that passion with you, and in doing so I hope you can immerse yourself into what the feeling is behind the picture.
An example of this is my more recent expansion into astrophotography. You may see the Orion Nebula on my site as just a deep space photo, but when I took the picture I was absolutely fascinated by it. What I saw was this beautiful nebula in space that seemed to resemble an angel of sorts. I was in awe knowing this Nebula was over 1,300 light years from Earth and 24 light years across with 2,000 times the mass of our sun. I still get a thrill every time I look at this star forming region because what I saw behind the photo I captured was that I can see stars being born in this massive stelllar nursery, and I took it from my own back yard! I have a new appreciaton every time I look up at the evening sky toward Orion's sword now. Although I've been able to pull in deep space objects millions of light years more distant since that first imaging session...the Orion Nebula is that one shot that still makes me go Wow!
Every picture has a story to tell
